With PV-Link, custom integration with PaperVision® Enterprise .NET or ImageSilo® is as easy as copy and paste! PV-Link enables “out-of-the-box” integration between your applications and PaperVision® Enterprise .NET or ImageSilo® data.

If you can copy text highlighted in an application to the Windows clipboard, you can copy the same text to PV-Link launching a custom search!

Advanced integration can be configured using PV-Link's defined search presets. This feature allows you to link a predefined search to your application's window title for immediate access to relevant data. PV-Link's command line API enables the ultimate in integration by providing the ability to use PV-Link's defined search presets from buttons or scripts within your applications.

         • Thumbnail viewer – Thumbnail viewing allows for easy selection of records such as
            photographs by using visual recognition key sequence to launch a custom search.

         • Out-of-the-box integration – Simply highlight text in any application and press the CONTROL-SHIFT-C
            key sequence to launch a custom search.

         • Automatic login – Login using name and password is only required when the program is first launched.
           All other logins happen seamlessly and automatically as documents are accessed.

         • Thin client compliant – PV-Link works with both PaperVision® Enterprise .NET and ImageSilo®.

         • Preserve concurrent user license – A license is only used when interacting with PaperVision® by
           viewing a document, search results, or configuring PV-Link.

         • Easy to remember hot-key activation – CONTROL-C is normally used as the sequence for copying data
           to the Windows clipboard. CONTROL-SHIFT-C key sequence is used to copy data to PV-Link launching
           a custom search.

         • Quick custom application integration – Search presets can be created which link a project and index
           field combination to an application by the application’s window caption. Configuring a partial window
           caption allows for dynamically changing window titles.

         • Command line API – The command line API allows for easy yet powerful custom integration with
           any application. This gives buttons added to enterprise applications the ability to launch unlimited
           custom search combinations using presets.
